About the Peapod

Jonesport Model Peapod This fiberglass peapod is molded from our 100-year-old, Jonesport-style "Mother Pod," a serious, time-tested, wooden rowing/sailing boat traditionally used in down-east Maine for lobstering and for carrying people and supplies along the coast.

Jonesport Model Peapod An eco-friendly form of recreation or transport, the Jonesport Peapod safely accommodates several people and lots of gear. She is perfect for family fun or solo excursions.

Due to her fine, raked ends, moderate bilges, and full-length molded keel, she rows easily and sails well, and she will get you home even if the seas kick up.
